Literary Sock Sets
Brand new from Baa Baa Brighouse are Literary Sock Sets inspired by the covers of Penguin Clothbound Classics books.
Each Literary Sock Set includes a 100g skein of unique hand dyed 100% British Bluefaced Leicester high twist 4 ply sock yarn based on a Penguin Clothbound Classic along with a 25g mini skein perfect for heels, toes and cuffs. These sets form part of a new permanent range at Baa Baa Brighouse and are designed to complement our Literary Greats Sock Yarn range.
The first Literary Sock Set is inspired by Emily Bronte’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ from our Baa Baa Brighouse Book Club. The second is inspired by Charlotte Bronte’s ‘Jane Eyre’, the third is inspired by Anne Bronte’s ‘The Tenant Of Wildfell Hall’ and the fourth is inspired by Charlotte Bronte’s ‘Villette’.
The fifth Literary Sock Set in our collection is inspired by Jane Austen’s ‘Sense & Sensibility’, the sixth is inspired by ‘Pride & Prejudice’, the seventh is inspired by ‘Northanger Abbey’, the eighth by ‘Mansfield Park’, the ninth is ‘Persuasion’, the tenth is ‘Love & Friendship’, the eleventh is ‘Emma’ and the twelfth is ‘Sanditon’.
The thirteenth is Virginia Woolf’s ‘Mrs Dalloway’, the fourteenth is Jean Rhys’ ‘Wide Sargasso Sea’, the fifteenth is D H Lawrence’s ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’, the sixteenth is James Joyce’s ‘Ulysses’ and the seventeenth is George Orwell’s ‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’.
The eighteenth is Thomas Hardy’s ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’, the nineteenth is inspired by ‘Tess Of The D’Urbervilles’, the twentieth is inspired by ‘The Mayor Of Casterbridge’ and the twentyfirst is inspired by Thomas Hardy’s ‘Jude The Obscure’.
The twentysecond is inspired by Charles Dickens’ ‘David Copperfield’.
